Laservision celebrated as Australia’s Best Small Business and Entrepreneur of the Year!

Laservision has recently taken out 1st place in four major National Awards. They are as follows;

  1. Winner Australia’s Best Small Business
    Presented by David Koch, founder of Palamedia
  2. Winner Entrepreneur of the Year
    Presented by the Australian Institute of Engineers
  3. Winner Creative Small to Medium-sized Enterprise (2nd time)
    Presented by the Hong Kong Australian Business Association
  4. Winner NSW Exporter of the Year in the category of Arts and Entertainment (2nd time)
    Presented by Austrade and the Australian Institute of Export

Laser Shows, Water Screens, Video Mapping, Architectural Lighting - Laservision

These awards recognise the creative and technical solution Laservision provided to Hong Kong’s Harbour and its ‘Symphony of Lights’. This nightly Spectacular was produced for the Hong Kong Tourism Commission.

Described as the “largest of its kind, even ever attempted”, the ‘Symphony of Lights’ celebrates the permanent illumination of 33 of Hong Kong’s most prominent buildings. The sensory mediums of the 14-minute show include high powered Lasers, Architectural Lighting, Fireworks and an original Soundtrack which is simulcast to local radio stations and can be dialled into via mobile phones.

Laservision’s recognition as ‘Australia’s Best Small Business’ was based on “the business that had best-established strength in the market and demonstrated its ability to innovate and adapt within a constantly changing business environment”. This prestigious award was recently presented to Laservision by David Koch, founder of Palamedia (Australia’s largest distributor of Finance and Business Media).

The Australian Institute of Engineers has celebrated the accomplishments of Laservision’s Engineering Department as among one of the finest in the world. Laservision was awarded their inaugural ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ for the release of the company’s new series of proprietary Show Control technology. The technology includes the combination of ‘Digital Data~Pump Series II (hardware) and Media~Manager (software)’.

Proven in Hong Kong, Laservision’s new series of Show Control systems are utilised for “shows demanding a high level of precision and reliability”, Australian Institute of Engineers.
