‘Wonder Full’, the spectacular light and water show that captivates audiences every night at Marina Bay Sands, has been awarded the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Award for outstanding contributions to the tourism industry in the category of Heritage and Culture.
Created by award winning company Laservision, the 13-minute show on the waters of Marina Bay beat hundreds of entries worldwide to take home the prestigious award of which past winners include the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Tourism Malaysia and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
‘Wonder Full’ is a stunning showpiece of visual effects using interweaving lasers, searchlights, LEDs, video projectors and giant streaming water screens. The show is set to an original orchestral sound track created especially for the show by renowned Singaporean music composer Iskandar Ismail, and cutting-edge technology. Previously awarded South East Asia’s “Best New Tourist Attraction”, ‘Wonder Full’ continues to receive global recognition for its success and contribution to the tourism and attraction industry.
“ ‘Wonder Full’ is truly a water, land and sky-based 360-degree experience like no other. It acts as a beacon across the bay, encouraging locals and tourists alike to visit Singapore and Marina Bay Sands. We are very proud of this most recent award,” said George Tanasijevich, Chief Executive Officer and President of Marina Bay Sands.
The Pacific Asia Travel Association operates with over 80 government, state and city tourism bodies, 50 international airlines, airports and cruise liners and many hundreds of travel industry companies across the Asia Pacific region and beyond to promote the development of tourism.

Laservision Celebrates Singapore’s 49th Anniversary
In commemoration of Singapore’s 49th year of independence, Laservision brought to life the heart of the 2014 National Day celebrations and pinnacle of Singapore’s dramatic city skyline, Marina Bay Sands.
The award winning water and light show ‘Wonder Full’ and The Float @ Marina Bay as well as surrounding areas were transformed into a Singapore themed mecca. Laservision provided a unique lighting treatment for the Marina Bay Sands hotel, Sands SkyPark underbelly and roof to match the patriotic fervour of the Singapore flag and national colours.
Images of the Singapore flag were projected onto the architecturally distinctive Sands SkyPark underbelly which can be seen from right across the Marina Bay precinct and beyond.
Laservision Gears up for Singapore’s Formula One Grand Prix
In arguably one of the biggest events in Singapore’s sporting calendar, Laservision has developed and installed a unique Marina Bay Sands lighting treatment to usher in this year’s Grand Prix. A number of dynamic and static lighting treatments set the scene for the world’s only Formula One night race.
From September 23rd to 25th, Laservision transformed the iconic Sands SkyPark underbelly of Marina Bay into a chequered flag synonymous with Formula One. The phenomenal ship-like structure of the Sands SkyPark floats atop three soaring hotel towers, for which the sheer walls can be used as dynamic canvases for laser projections. In true F1 fashion, Laservision transformed the exterior of the hotel into a simulated race track entertaining the hundreds and thousands of spectators gathered around the Marina Bay precinct to watch the highly anticipated event.
Laservision is a world leader in Entertainment Communications, known for its work in Mega Media Attractions, Special Events and Architectural Lighting.
