The Prime Minister of Singapore Mr Lee Hsien Loong, accompanied by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation (LVSC), Mr Sheldon G. Alderson, were joined by thousands of spectators to witness the unveiling of Laservision’s record-breaking Multimedia Spectacular “Wonder Full”.
The 13-minute, 360 degree, three-dimensional “show is the exclamation point on the sentence of Marina Bay Sands,” as described by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation President and Chief Operating Officer, Michael A. Leven.
LVSC embarked on a World audit to identify and engage a single organisation capable of designing, developing and deploying a state-of-the-art outdoor multimedia attraction. After a 12 month audit, Laservision was selected as the successful company and on 17th February, in front of a star-studded audience, including the Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, 450 international media and LVSC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mr Sheldon G. Adelson “Wonder Full” was launched to the World!
Located on the USD $6 billion, 20-hectare Integrated Resort, the three-dimensional fantasy showcases:
The show features new and exciting technology that took Laservision three years to develop and refine. A team consisting of 100 specialists in architectural, design, creative, musical, engineering, technical and IT resources were drawn from its Hong Kong, Australian and Singaporean offices. The Show will be operated and maintained by Laservision’s Singapore office.
The original idea of creating a show that has a “soul” was seeded by Mr Michael A. Leven, President and Chief Operating Officer, LVSC. Internationally renowned as the leader in large scale multimedia spectaculars and architectural illumination, Laservision was engaged to bring this vision to life.
“Wonder Full” is the story of Water and Light creating Life, told with water and light. The spectacular explores humanity and the beauty of the human experience through original footage from Singapore, an original sound score and an abundance of mediums spanning the Marina Bay Sands development.
This world-class attraction will light up the waterfront and skies of the Marina Bay area seven days a week and viewers will be entertained twice a night from Sunday to Thursday and three times on Friday and Saturday evenings.
