In celebration of the Lunar New Year, Laservision created a unique 3D video mapping attraction at the Venetian Macau in one of the world’s biggest light shows this festive season.
The ‘Seasons of Prosperity’ interactive event enthralled audiences during the two week celebration taking place at Macau’s prestigious integrated resort, famed for its luxury suites, world class shopping, exceptional dining and inimitable entertainment.
In the biggest and most significant event in Chinese community, Laservision brought to life the iconic Venetian hotel in a spectacular light, sound and pyrotechnics display, showcasing intelligent video mapping capabilities across the 4,000 square metre facade. The installation was a marriage of time-honoured tradition with innovation in an unforgettable “East-meets-West” New Years experience.
‘Seasons of Prosperity’ was launched to mark the start of the festive holiday season and herald in The Year of the Horse. Crowds amassed at the resort’s expansive outdoor lagoon area, transformed in keeping with equine theme, featuring 18 fibreglass horses uniquely hand decorated by local Macau artists. Visitors were also enchanted by a beautiful carrousel, a traditional Chinese archway, a gigantic 40 foot high peach blossom tree, game booths featuring fortune telling, lucky draws, lucky banner calligraphy and balloon twisting, a real ice skating rink, and more.
Supported by the Macao Government, Laservision’s 3D video mapping events have become a permanent feature at the Venetian as it transforms its facades into a digital canvas and takes its many visitors on an auspicious journey through the seasons.
Laservision Makes Gaming History with Launch of Xbox One
In a colossal sea of green, Laservision marked a new generation of console gaming and home entertainment with the worldwide launch of the Xbox One.
Sydney’s skyline and harbour foreshore were transformed with the illumination of iconic landmarks across the city. In an Australian first, the famous Sydney Tower switched off its trademark signage to play host to the Southern Hemisphere’s largest countdown clock for the evening.
