The Everest barrier draw via a water screen on Sydney Harbour

A mesmerising occasion on the pristine harbour

The Everest barrier draw was revealed on Tuesday night via a spectacular show incorporating lasers, fountains and a water screen on Sydney Harbour.

Engaged by Racing NSW and the Australian Turf Club to create an original and unique barrier draw, Laservision combined their expertise in water shows with Sydney’s world-renowned harbour.

Positioned with the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background, guests gathered for the reveal on Sydney’s newest super yacht, The Jackson.

Drawn by chance, the barriers for the 12 horses were revealed one by one on the water screen situated on Sydney Harbour.

Juggling a swirling wind with video projection and creative content shared at the eleventh hour due to the sensitive nature of the information, Laservision’s operations team pulled off a remarkable feat. Consequently creating a dynamic, original medium to share major announcements that entertains audiences via fountains, lasers, video projection and sound.

“A spectacular barrier reveal that featured water fountains and a laser show on Sydney Harbour.”
Chris Roots, Sydney Morning Herald
