Laservision Celebrates Hong Kong’s 15th Anniversary!

In a coordinated celebration spanning the globe, the creators of the ‘Biggest Show on Earth’ and Guinness World Record ‘Symphony of Lights’ will assist the Hong Kong Economic Trade Office (HKETO) in Sydney, Australia, to celebrate the historical 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People’s Republic of China.

The Government of Hong Kong will host over 300 activities across the globe celebrating this historic occasion. The iconic Hong Kong House located in Sydney’s CBD, built in 1891, owned by the HKSAR and listed under the Register of National Trust will become the canvas of a week-long Light and Laser Spectacular to celebrate the diversity of Hong Kong, ranging from its importance as a leading financial powerhouse to a shopping paradise and artistic hub.

The Light and Laser show produced by Laservision will project signature images iconic to Hong Kong from 28th June through to 3rd July.

The show will be created using Laservision’s latest Show Control technology, namely the Digital Data~Pump Series III (DDP III). This technology coupled with Laservision’s Media Manager software form the backbone of the ‘World’s Largest Light and Laser Show’ as well as the more recent ‘Wonder Full’ Multimedia Attraction at the multi-billion dollar Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort located in Singapore.

The DDP III provides previously unobtainable levels of integration and performance in the realm of Multimedia and Special Event spectaculars. Developed from over 30 years’ experience in the entertainment and attraction industry this innovative technology provides the platform to deliver previously unprecedented experiences.

The DDP III paired with Laservision’s media servers provides an infinitely scalable platform capable of precise control and distribution of massive volumes of data across a performance arena for a city scale spectacular down to 1/1000th of a second.

Laservision high powered Solid State Light~Ray Laser systems will be utilised to project the iconic laser images onto Hong Kong House. Utilising the latest in Solid State technologies, over 50W of Laser energy will be transformed into enormous multi-coloured dynamic laser graphics.
