Swan Hill Pioneer Settlement engaged Laservision to create a cultural experience attraction that would increase tourism, stimulate private sector investment and boost the local and regional economy. ‘Heartbeat of the Murray’ located at the historic Pioneer Settlement in Swan Hill, authentically chronicles the evolution of the life-giving body of water known today as the Murray River.
Laservision’s unique and historically accurate sensory extravaganza, ‘Heartbeat of the Murray’, begins millions-of-years ago and carries the audience through the many phases of its incredible history and to the eventual formation of the river as current. After experiencing the production, many locals are astounded by the rich history of the mighty Murray River and the integral part it plays in the lives of Australians’ today.
The permanent tourist attraction and visual experience was researched, designed, created, and installed by Laservision. The mega-mediums that Laservision has pioneered for over 30 years tells the incredible story of the Murray River with pseudo-holographic imagery projected onto huge waterscreens, lasers, lighting, fountains, flame and special effects to create a fully immersive 360-degree production.
