Bloom – Extended due to popular demand

The limited night season now ends on Sunday 2 November

The Bloom – Luna Light Journey, which has been illuminating Joondalup’s Central Park into a glowing wonderland nightly, is being extended by one week due to popular demand.

The limited night season, originally scheduled to end on 26 October, is being extended one week to now conclude on 2 November (inclusive).

Since its premiere on 26 September, Bloom has been selling out nightly. Combining cutting-edge technology with storytelling which follows the journey of a native blue-banded bee, over 45,000 people have already experienced the wonders of Bloom.

And now, until Sunday 2 November, Central Park in Joondalup will be able to accommodate many more to experience the interactive projections, laser displays and soundscapes.

City of Joondalup Mayor, Albert Jacob exclaimed,

“Tens of thousands of people can’t be wrong – Laservision’s Bloom has been the hit of the season, drawing huge crowds from Joondalup, across Perth and beyond. Audiences simply can’t get enough of this spectacular celebration of light, colour and sound. With the season now extended for another seven nights, it’s a welcome announcement for first-time and return visitors. Don’t miss your chance to experience Bloom!”

Laservision CEO Shannon Brooks – whose acclaimed multimedia studio created Bloom, remarked,

‘We positioned Bloom as an accessible and fun night out and its popularity is testament to this. The combination of storytelling through light and sound, unique uses of interactive technology and ticket prices that don’t break the bank, has resonated strongly with the community.”

Bloom is produced by Laservision and is presented in partnership with the City of Joondalup and 7 News Perth. With Bloom’s proximity to Joondalup CBD, we suggest making a night of it by visiting a restaurant or venue, before or after, the show. And on Saturday nights during the season, the Joondalup Night Markets will be serving delicious street food just a few footsteps away.

The extra week provides a further opportunity for all West Australians to see the limited season show before it ends on 2 November. With a new allocation of tickets available due to the one-week extension, it is recommended to book early. Tickets, especially to the early sessions, will not last long. There will be no further extensions to the length of the Bloom season. To reserve tickets or for further information, visit Bloom Joondalup

Low-sensory sessions are also available for community members with specific needs.
