In May 2025, Laservision delivered Symphony of the Green Island, a live water show spectacular on the shores of Cát Bà Island, Vietnam combining live cast, sound, lighting, lasers and pyrotechnics. The performance brought island mythology to life across a 50,000-square-metre aquatic stage, telling stories through movement, colour and spectacle. Throughout the season, audiences gathered along the 400-metre beachfront, experiencing a carefully choreographed 20-minute journey.
Laservision collaborated closely with H2O Events and Sun Group Entertainment to create a show that captivates visitors, offering every attendee a memorable and immersive experience.
The production marks a significant milestone in Vietnam’s entertainment landscape. With an investment exceeding 200 billion VND, it sets a new standard for large-scale outdoor performances in the region. Running for a limited night season, May-August 2025, the show’s success underscores the growing demand for high-quality, immersive entertainment experiences in Vietnam.
Recognising the show’s impact, Symphony of the Green Island has been officially recognised by the Guinness World Records for achieving the ‘largest jet ski and fireworks formation’. This accolade highlights the show’s extraordinary scale and the exceptional coordination involved in its execution.
The show transforms the entire beachfront into a dynamic, purpose-built aquatic theatre. Hundreds of moving head lights and lasers animate the water and sky, kilometres of fibre provide the networking backbone for the system and a high-powered sound system delivers crisp audio across the full length of the beach.
Over 40 performers operate jet skis, flyboards and jet surfs, weaving together intricate patterns and shapes that bring the story of the island’s myths to life. The performance achieves record-breaking scale, holding the current Guinness World Record for the largest jet ski and fireworks formation, and demonstrates Laservision’s ability to orchestrate massive outdoor spectacles.

Laservision creates the show with a mythical, elemental visual language that reflects the duality of Cát Bà Island – solid yet fluid, dense yet delicate. The performance unfolds in chapters representing the elements: Wood, Fire, Metal, Water and Earth, framed by the descent of magical fairies.
The team uses jet skis to form dynamic symbols like trees, waves and flowers, while lighting shapes the natural environment and lasers introduce mystical textures. Contrasting colour palettes – green/magenta, red/cyan, yellow/violet – highlight elemental oppositions and enhance the storytelling. Every creative choice aims to inspire transcendence, transformation and dialogue between nature and the divine, turning the stage into a living canvas.

Laservision programs the show in detail, simulating every cue before arriving on site. Once on-site, the team coordinates with Sun Group, H2O Events, the composer and pyrotechnics specialists to integrate live performers with technical elements seamlessly.
