Echoes Awakens Bella Vista Farm

Step into a living storybook after dark

A new month-long light and sound show that uses one of Sydney’s most historic homes as its canvas after dark has officially kicked off in Western Sydney.

Step into Echoes – Luna Light Journey to experience the rich history of Bella Vista Farm like never before – from the Dharug people and their study of the stars, to the early settlers and the citrus orchards the region was known for – brought to life by multimedia attraction experts, Laservision.

Now on nightly for a limited season, 5 September to 6 October, highlights of Echoes include:

  • Follow the illuminated paths and experience:
    • Dynamic interactive zones
    • Vibrant light projections
    • Custom soundscapes
    • Pulsating special effects
      • Combine in an imaginative display, bringing old tales to life
  • A selection of desserts, drinks and snacks inside the show

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne said Echoes will be an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

“Our residents will be able to explore The Hills Shire’s history like never before through cutting edge light and sound effects,” Mayor Byrne said.

“This is The Hills Shire’s answer to Vivid, bringing a fun and affordable event for the whole family to enjoy in the heart of Sydney’s north-west.

“Council is proud to partner with local event producers Laservision to bring this captivating experience to Sydney after their string of sold out shows around the globe in Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore.”

Laservision Owner and CEO Shannon Brooks said the Dural-based company was thrilled to be producing a show in the region they’re proud to call home.

“Stepping into Echoes is akin to stepping into a living storybook. The team have done an amazing job bringing the stories of our region to life. This is a not to be missed light and sound show with a twist, and a fantastic night out for young and old,” Mr Brooks said.

We’ve put on shows all over the globe and its amazing to finally produce a show on our doorstep.”

Echoes is produced by Laservision and is presented in partnership with The Hills Shire Council. Before entering Echoes, a selection of light dinner options, desserts, sweets and drinks are located at the food truck precinct, located on-site, just outside the gates.
