History Meets the Future in New Hologram Exhibit at Caboolture Historical Village

LASERVISION Creates Full-size, Life-like Hologram for New Edutainment Exhibit at Caboolture Historical Village.

April 29th, 2021: History was blended with future hologram technology as LASERVISION unveiled their latest creation and edutainment exhibit for Caboolture Historical Village, in QLD, Australia. Using unique hologram technology, this exhibit welcomes visitors with a life-like recreation of Mr. William Geddes, ‘Lord of Caboolture,’ and the first Postmaster at the very same Post Office building where he worked back in 1869. The rich storytelling of Mr. Geddes tells of how he and his family risked the dangerous journey from Manchester, England to following the gold diggers, who were on their way to the Gympie goldfields, hoping to make their fortunes and the successful creation of the town of Caboolture along the way.

“This latest addition to Caboolture Historical Village has been well received by visitors and the community proving that modern technologies are breathing new life and allowing communities to engage with history in a new and exciting way. These technologies are perfect for museums, art exhibits and regional points of interest around Australia and we are excited for Caboolture Historical Village to have such a beautiful and educational offering for their visitors at their Post Office exhibit.” Said Mr. Michael Hanlon, Business Development Director, LASERVISION.
