After winning the Best Small Regional Event award in 2023 for ‘The Enchanted Forest’ at the Australian Event Awards, Laservision returned to Shellharbour in May with an all-new Luna Light Journey and original theme.
‘The Enchanted Forest – Lost Astronaut’ was held over 23 consecutive nights and saw the Illawarra and wider regions journey through an immersive, space-themed, night-time trail of sound and light in Blackbutt Forest Reserve.
In 2024, audiences along the journey followed the storyline of a ‘Lost Astronaut’ attempting to rebuild their spaceship to escape an enchanted, otherwordly forest.
An annual event that returns with a new theme each season, The Enchanted Forest provides a significant boost to the region’s night-time economy. Simultaneously, the event delights attendees from as far north as Sydney and as far south as the town of Nowra on New South Wales’ south coast.

Returning in 2025, and in partnership with Shellharbour City Council, The Enchanted Forest has become a highly anticipated event on the calendar.
