Bullanginya Dreaming, the $1.5 million interactive laser, light and sound spectacular located in Barooga, NSW, has won another international award overnight.

At the 2025 Mondo-DR Awards held in Orlando, USA, Bullanginya Dreaming was the winner of the Immersive Experience category, defeating international competitors, The Sistine Chapel Heritage Project in Poland and OPAL the musical soundscape in Montreal, Canada.

Sporties Barooga CEO, Bobby Brooks said he was delighted with the accolade.

“We are thrilled to win our second international award. The first was at the Blooloop Innovation Awards for ‘Storytelling’, and now this at the Mondo-DR Awards for ‘Immersive Experience’. We know we have an exceptional attraction in Barooga. It’s a hidden gem to many, but now it is also being recognised on a worldwide stage, and we are incredibly proud that it’s now receiving the recognition this calibre of attraction deserves.”

“Special thanks to our partners at Laservision and ACHE (Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and Education) for allowing us to bring this dream project to life,” Mr Brooks said.

The Mondo-DR Awards first launched in 2017 to celebrate the best installation projects from around the world.

Bullanginya Dreaming is open every Friday and Saturday night, with additional dates during school holidays.
