Spring has Sprung – Joondalup’s Central Park in full Bloom

Bloom premieres in Perth tonight

Tonight (Friday, 26 September 2025) marks the premiere of Bloom – Luna Light Journey, an internationally acclaimed immersive light and sound experience that will transform Joondalup’s Central Park into a glowing wonderland. Running nightly until 26 October, this immersive light and sound experience is set to be the sell-out event of spring.

Produced by Laservision, the creative powerhouse behind record-breaking shows in Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong—Bloom is making its WA debut after captivating audiences across Australia with Luna Light Journeys. The show combines cutting-edge technology with storytelling, following the journey of a native blue-banded bee.

For the next month, Central Park in Joondalup will be home to interactive projections, laser displays and soundscapes.

Joondalup Mayor Albert Jacob said Bloom is the must-see event to add to your calendar this spring.

“Joondalup’s Central Park will light up in an extraordinary display, and we’re inviting people from across Perth and beyond to experience this captivating after-dark adventure’” Mayor Jacob said.

“With stunning light installations, immersive experiences and family-friendly fun on offer over the next month, Bloom will be a popular event for families everywhere.

“This world-class spectacular will shine a light on one of our city’s most picturesque locations and further cement Joondalup’s reputation as the events capital of Perth’s north.”

Laservision CEO Shannon Brooks – whose company holds multiple Guinness World Records, including the World’s Largest Light & Sound Show said they can’t wait to open the gates to Bloom in WA tonight.

Bloom is set to wow and delight. Countless months of hard work have led to tonight’s premiere. The team have produced a unique, story-driven light show that is bound to impress.”

Bloom is produced by Laservision and is presented in partnership with the City of Joondalup and 7 News Perth. With Bloom’s proximity to Joondalup CBD, we suggest making a night of it by visiting a restaurant or venue before or after the show. And on select nights during the season, the Joondalup Night Markets will be serving delicious street food just a few footsteps away.

With many sessions to Bloom already sold-out, the public are encouraged to plan ahead. To reserve tickets or for further information, visit Bloom Joondalup.
