‘Winter in Venice’ – A 3D architectural son et lumiere!

Laservision's new show ‘The Magic of the Seasons’ welcomes the festive season in Macau

Marking the beginning of the 2012 festive season, Laservision launched The Venetian Macao’s, ‘Winter in Venice’ event with one of the world’s largest architectural 3D son et lumière ‘The Magic of the Seasons’.

Supported by the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO), the nightly event will run from 21 November and provide audiences with over 500 spectacular shows throughout the festive season.

“Winter in Venice will be the ultimate destination and an iconic event creating an unforgettable holiday experience for all.”
President & CEO of Sands China, Edward Tracy

‘The Magic of the Seasons’ son et lumière takes audiences through a journey of the four seasons evoking the joy and wonder of summer, autumn, winter and spring through stunning imagery, an orchestral sound score and an array of special effects.

The unique architecture of The Venetian Macao’s façade, when amplified with light across the lagoon, creates a stunning vista for patrons to enjoy.

To truly create a winter wonderland experience, additional attractions have been provided to entertain audiences including Macau’s largest outdoor Christmas tree, an outdoor ice-skating rink, live performers including magicians, dancers, contortionists and an operatic duo singing the Vivaldi-inspired original sound score created for the ‘The Magic of the Seasons’.

The light and sound show runs every 30 minutes between 6pm and 10pm and there is a special extra New Year’s Eve show to welcome the New Year!
