Combining immersive lighting, lasers, holograms, interactive projection, light sculptures and sound, Laservision partnered with Sydney Zoo to reimagine GLOW in 2026, transforming the zoo into an immersive after-dark experience in the heart of Western Sydney.
At the centre of GLOW at Sydney Zoo was Laservision’s signature Luna Light Journey, an extended nighttime trail featuring more than 20 immersive installations integrated throughout the zoo grounds. Interactive technology, large-scale light art and layered soundscapes transformed familiar spaces and animal environments after dark.
The 2026 experience introduced The Moonlight Mystery, an original story-driven adventure where guests entered through a glowing bamboo portal and followed clues to uncover who had stolen the moonlight. Searchlights, an illuminated moon, interactive projections, lasers and holograms turned the journey into an experience audiences could actively explore.
Laservision partnered with Sydney Zoo to create and produce the new Luna Light Journey for GLOW 2026, combining more than 40 years of immersive design expertise with one of Western Sydney’s most popular winter events. GLOW itself welcomed more than 100,000 visitors in 2025 before Laservision’s inaugural collaboration the following year.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who has worked behind the scenes to evolve this event, with an expanded footprint, immersive soundscapes and all-new light installations.
The reimagined night trail transforms familiar enclosures at the zoo into glowing, atmospheric scenes.
It’s part art installation, part night safari – designed to keep all ages entertained.

Laservision created The Moonlight Mystery, an original Luna Light Journey combining immersive storytelling, interactive technology and the unique nighttime environment of Sydney Zoo.
Guests stepped through a glowing bamboo portal into a world where the moonlight had mysteriously disappeared, following illuminated paw prints and clues throughout the zoo to solve the mystery.

The journey moved through interactive encounters including searchlights across the tiger enclosure, a towering LED bonfire and a suspended illuminated moon, before culminating in a finale combining lasers, holograms and interactive projection

Operating a large-scale immersive light experience throughout an active zoo required careful planning, technical coordination and ongoing show management.
Laservision’s Operations and Technical teams, working in partnership with Sydney Zoo, were responsible for delivering and maintaining the Luna Light Journey across an extended trail featuring more than 20 installations throughout the zoo grounds.
Outdoor conditions and changing winter weather required robust technical systems and ongoing monitoring, while installations also needed to integrate sensitively with Sydney Zoo’s existing environments and visitor pathways.
Across the 2026 season, Laservision successfully delivered The Moonlight Mystery at GLOW Sydney Zoo, combining immersive storytelling, light art and interactive technology to create a new after-dark experience for Western Sydney.
